You know it is summer in the AEC industry when shiny shovels start showing up! Four of JNKA’s current projects – St. Francis Xavier in LaGrange, Wheaton Academy in West Chicago,  St. Peter the Apostle in Itasca,  and Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel in Grand Rapids, Michigan – all broke ground recently. More symbolic than literal, these ceremonies represent an important milestone in the life of a project (although as evidenced by the SPA, sometimes the dirt really does fly!). Congratulations to all involved on these exciting projects! We look forward to seeing these unique ideas transform into reality as construction progresses.  Thanks to the Frederick Quinn CorporationMazur + Son Construction and Erhardt (the general contractors), as well as Tower Pinkster, who is serving as the Architect of Record on Aquinas.  More press on the ceremonies can be found in here (St. Francis Xavier) and here (Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel).
